On Zoz, in a forest clearing, the powwow for Red Wolf and Onawa's wedding is being set up. Defender Zik, Amelia, Mikigaazo and Mizhakwan are visiting, so that Amelia and Miki can learn a little about this Zozian cultural celebration. There'll be the wedding, of course, but also a fancy dance competition, sharing of stories, buying and selling of crafted items, live music, and feasting. It'll be a heck of a good time, and everyone's in high spirits.

The conversation is interrupted by Francisco aboard the nearby Temerity, who reports that an unknown fleet of huge vessels has suddenly appeared at the edge of the Zozian solar system! As Defender Zik and the others race back to the Temerity, Zoot confirms that these vessels are unknown to Zoz, and that their engine emissions are similar to the Zernabian ships they've encountered. An alarmed Amelia's primary concern is that Queen Elcyra is back, but Zoot reassures her, saying that the ship's profiles don't match any Zernabian ships either, and seem to be from somewhere else.

A grim Zik laments that Zoz is no longer hidden from the galaxy. Zozians will now have to struggle to survive in a galaxy far more advanced than they are!
